Your Hobbs Orthodontist
Dr. David Farnsworth is an Arizona native. After serving a two-year mission in Puebla, Mexico, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with degrees in philosophy, Spanish, and biological sciences. He went on to attend Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
He excelled during dental school, receiving multiple awards and honors, including membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society. Dr. Farnsworth completed his orthodontic residency at Baylor, where he conducted cutting-edge research and received an M.S. in Oral Biology. His research was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopedics.
Dr. Farnsworth enjoys reading and outdoor activities such as camping and waterskiing. He is married and has four children.
Dr. Jacob Shelley is from Southwest New Mexico and earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Brigham Young University. He went on to obtain his DMD degree and a certificate in public health from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
Dr. Shelley completed his orthodontic specialist residency at Saint Louis University, where he earned a master's degree and conducted research on Invisalign clear aligners. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Shelley enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, as well as playing sports like soccer, tennis, and pickleball. He is involved in his community and has served in multiple youth mentorship programs and as a leading partner for the American Red Cross.
