Dr. Farnsworth

Meet Dr. David Farnsworth

Dr. David Farnsworth is a native of Arizona. After high school, he went on a two-year service mission for his church to Puebla, Mexico, where he learned to speak Spanish fluently.

Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Farnsworth attended Arizona State University, where he studied philosophy, Spanish and biological sciences. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was accepted to dental school at the prestigious Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.

In dental school, he received many awards, including the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award for Academic Achievements in Dentistry and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society membership. He graduated from dental school with the highest distinction and was accepted to continue at Baylor for his orthodontic residency, where he performed cutting-edge research, and received his M.S. in Oral Biology and his orthodontic certificate.

His research has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopedics.

Dr. Farnsworth enjoys camping, waterskiing, and reading, but most of all, he loves spending time with his beautiful wife and four children.

Dr. Sorenson

Meet Dr. Justin Sorensen

Dr. Justin Sorensen was raised in southeastern Arizona. Following high school, he served for two years as a missionary in West Virginia.

After returning home, he worked as an electrician while pursuing his interests in art and architecture at Eastern Arizona College. He became fascinated with the art and science of orthodontics while receiving orthodontic treatment for the first time at age twenty-four.

He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in applied biology. Dr. Sorensen received his dental training at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona.

He received many awards and scholarships in dental school for his academic performance, service contributions, and outstanding patient management. He graduated from dental school at the top of his class and was inducted into the national dental honor society.

He was then accepted to Saint Louis University, where he completed his specialty training. SLU is known as one of the finest orthodontic residency programs in the nation.

Dr. Sorensen cares deeply for his patients and their families. He enjoys getting to know each and every patient and creating personal, lasting relationships.

He seeks to be an empathetic and active listener and believes in treating his patients and the team like family. He is passionate about creating beautiful smiles; you will notice that he has an incredible eye for detail and a natural artistic ability to take your smile to the next level.

He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and remains a learner of orthodontics and personal improvement.

Dr. Brimhall

Meet Dr. Jae Brimhall

Dr. Jae Brimhall has been straightening snaggleteeth for over a decade in practices in Kentucky, Colorado, and Texas. He has worked in different capacities during his career. He is thrilled to be able to serve San Angelo and surrounding communities to help everyone achieve the smile they desire!

Dr. Jae’s mantra is “Go. Do. Live. Love. Be.” He does each of those BIG! He adores his blended family and cherishes his role as a dad/stepdad. He loves being outside, traveling, hiking, camping, fishing, and in the winter months, skiing.

He has been to all the 50 states and is now working on visiting on each of our country’s National Parks. In 2022, he visited six of them and has now been to 31 of the 63 National Parks.

Lastly, since moving to Texas, Dr. Jae has become a bit of a barbecue snob and regularly makes treks all around the state to find the next best BBQ joint.

Dr. Jae bleeds blue! He graduated with a BS from Brigham Young University and his Dental Degree (DMD) and Master in Orthodontics (MS) from the University of Kentucky. When March Madness rolls around each year, be looking for him in his Kentucky gear!

He is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the national dental honor society). Lastly, he is a Board-Certified Orthodontist from the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Shelley

Meet Dr. Jacob Shelley

Dr. Jacob Shelley was raised in Southwest New Mexico, where he spent many years working on his grandfather’s cattle ranch near the Mogollon Mountains. After high school, he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology at Brigham Young University and graduated with honors.

In 2015, Dr. Shelley was accepted to the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, which is renowned for its clinical excellence and public health focus. During his training, he practiced dentistry at multiple community health clinics and earned a certificate in public health in addition to a DMD degree.

He then completed his orthodontic specialist residency at Saint Louis University, where he earned a master’s degree while performing research on Invisalign clear aligners.

He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the national dental honor society).

Dr. Shelley loves creating beautiful, confident smiles and treats every patient the way he treats his family. His favorite pastime is hiking and biking with his wife and two children.

He has been actively engaged with his community, serving in multiple youth mentorship programs and as a leading partner for the American Red Cross. He enjoys sports (mainly soccer, tennis, and pickleball), birdwatching, dad jokes, New Mexico sunsets, and tasty salsa.
