Meet Your Clovis Family Orthodontist

Dr. Sorenson

Dr. Justin Sorensen grew up in southeastern Arizona and spent two years as a missionary in West Virginia after high school.

Upon returning home, he worked as an electrician while pursuing his interests in art and architecture at Eastern Arizona College. It was during this time that he became fascinated with the art and science of orthodontics, having received treatment for the first time at age twenty-four.

Dr. Sorensen went on to earn a bachelor's degree in applied biology from Arizona State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He then attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona, where he received numerous awards and scholarships for his academic performance, service contributions, and outstanding patient management. He graduated from dental school at the top of his class and was inducted into the national dental honor society.

Following this achievement, Dr. Sorensen was accepted into Saint Louis University, one of the nation's finest orthodontic residency programs, where he completed his specialty training.

Dr. Sorensen's passion for his patients is evident in his approach to care. He enjoys getting to know each patient on a personal level and strives to create lasting relationships with them and their families. He is an empathetic and active listener who believes in treating his patients and team like family. With an incredible eye for detail and a natural artistic ability, Dr. Sorensen is dedicated to creating beautiful smiles that exceed his patients' expectations.

Having a beautiful, straight smile isn't just for children and teens. Adults deserve to have the same quality orthodontic care to achieve their ideal smile. At Farnsworth Family Orthodontics in Clovis, we offer a wide range of orthodontic treatments, including braces and Invisalign, for patients of all ages.

Orthodontics for Children

It's recommended by the American Association of Orthodontists that children receive an orthodontic check-up by the age of 7. This allows our team to identify any potential issues with their teeth and jaw alignment before they become more serious. Early treatment can also reduce the length of orthodontic treatment later on.

Our team will carefully evaluate your child's dental health and determine whether or not they need orthodontic treatment at that time. If treatment is necessary, we offer various options including traditional braces, clear ceramic braces, and Invisalign clear aligners.

Orthodontic Care for Teens

Teenagers often have concerns about how long they will need to wear braces. While each case is unique, we use advanced technology and techniques to ensure that their treatment is as efficient as possible. Today's braces are more comfortable and discreet than ever, making the treatment process more enjoyable for teens.

In addition to traditional braces, we offer clear ceramic braces and Invisalign clear aligners as alternative options for teens who may prefer a more subtle appearance. Our team will work with each patient to find the best option to achieve their perfect smile.

Adult Orthodontics

More adults are seeking orthodontic treatment than ever before, with roughly 20% of all orthodontic patients being adults. We offer a variety of treatments for adults, including traditional braces and Invisalign clear aligners. Many adults choose orthodontic treatment later in life to improve their oral health or feel more confident about their smile.

Our team is dedicated to providing each patient with personalized care to address their unique dental needs. We believe that everyone deserves to have a healthy, beautiful smile and will work tirelessly to help our patients achieve their goals.
