Dr. Jacob Shelley
Dr. Jacob Shelley grew up in Southwest New Mexico, surrounded by the stunning Mogollon Mountains. He spent many years working on his grandfather's cattle ranch, where he learned the value of hard work and dedication.
After graduating high school, Dr. Shelley pursued his passion for biology and earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Brigham Young University.
In 2015, he was thrilled to be accepted into the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, a top-tier institution known for its clinical excellence and focus on public health. During his training, he had the opportunity to practice dentistry at multiple community health clinics and earned a certificate in public health in addition to his DMD degree.
Following dental school, Dr. Shelley completed a rigorous orthodontic specialist residency program at Saint Louis University, where he earned a master's degree and conducted research on Invisalign clear aligners.
Today, Dr. Shelley is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.
When he's not busy creating beautiful, confident smiles for his patients, Dr. Shelley loves spending time with his wife and two children. They enjoy hiking and biking together, exploring the great outdoors, and watching the stunning New Mexico sunsets.
In addition to his work as an orthodontist, Dr. Shelley is passionate about giving back to his community. He has served in multiple youth mentorship programs and is a leading partner for the American Red Cross. He's also a sports enthusiast and enjoys playing soccer, tennis, and pickleball in his free time.
